If you hit your ball into the rough at Top of the Rock golf course in Missouri, you might never see it again. Literally. The Jack Nicklaus-designed course near the resort town of Branson recently fell victim to a massive sinkhole that opened up near a pond around the entrance of the course. Just to be clear: This thing is huge.

Good luck using your sand wedge to get out of that one. According to The Associated Press, the gaping hole consists of two adjacent sinkholes – one of which measured 80 feet wide and 35 feet deep – and geological engineers are trying to determine if it was caused by an undiscovered cave. Believe it or not, this course actually hosted a PGA tournament last month. We doubt much golf will be played there until the sinkhole is repaired, but if mundane sand traps are starting to bore you, this course might be right up your alley.
