If you’re a video maker on youtube, at some point (most likely) you’ve ran into the threat of false flagging your videos down, or the actual act was done to you by some anonymous person.
Its happened to me SIX times in the past ! Each time, I’ve had my channel restored.
update
If you ever have had your youtube channel shut off, once the channel is gone, you cannot click the “dispute” button on the video which actually got your channel shut off in the first place. Smh @ that by the way.
Obviously, if your channel is shut off, how can you “dispute” an incorrect / false copyright that got the channel terminated?!
My channel was shut off SIX TIMES by all sorts of false flagging attempts – each time I went through a process to get the channel restored, and get the false claims removed.
_____
Here is how you get your channel restored after being shut down due to 1st OR 3rd party false claims.
You will find that this is pretty much the only way to get results.
_____
First.. you’ll need the URL website address of the video you want to dispute.
Usually youtube will send you an email to your G-mail account if you get a copyright notice listing the video you were flagged for.
You need the full youtube URL of the video that got you taken down -example – http : // wwwDOTyoutubeDOTcom/watch?v=123456xyz
___
Once you have the URL (web address) of the video that got your channel taken down.. send this below in am email.. makes sure to COPY BELOW WORD FOR WORD
Directions on how to dispute a closed account from google can be found here as well:

=======================
We all know the flagging process is abused, and flawed — and leads to channels being flagged down by “fake” people, such as “Daffy Duck” , dead people like River Phoenix , and Randy Savage.
Clearly false claims , which are approved through the automatic (and obviously flawed / broken ) flagging system on youtube.
There is a way to get your channel back, if you’ve been hit with multiple claims which cause a shut down.
Follow these steps to begin the process of hopeful return : If you’re rejected, or run into problems (get lost in the shuffle) you can repeat the process until you get results.
You are dealing with real people doing this particular dispute , not a computer.
Remember, everything you send them is LEGAL.
Ironically, the people who filed the false claims did NOT have to do any of this. Which is why we really can say the system is beyond broken.
Here are the steps you need to take:

1. Your contact information
You’ll need to provide the following information that will allow us to contact you regarding your request:
- Full legal name (a first and last name, not a company name)
- Email address
- Physical address
- Telephone number
2. Identification of the specific URL(s)
Please include the URL(s) of the exact video(s) or we will be unable to reinstate them. The URL should be in the following format: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx.
Your counter notification must include specific links to the material that has been removed or disabled. General information about the video, such as a channel URL or username, is not adequate.
3. You must agree to and include the following statement:
“I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside of the United States, the judicial district in which YouTube is located, and will accept service of process from the claimant.”
4. And the following statement:
“I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.”
5. Your signature
Complete counter notifications require your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a representative authorized to act on your behalf, such as an attorney. To satisfy this requirement, you may type your full legal name (a first and last name, not a company name) to act as your signature at the bottom of your request.
You may submit these requests via email, postal mail, or fax, being sure to include the requirements above.
