Obama Expresses Contrition for Obamacare Statements Just Another Lie
Obama Expresses Contrition for Obamacare… by Tats-Revolution
He expresses remorse and takes responsibility:
But it — even though it’s a small percentage of folks who may be disadvantaged, you know, it means a lot to them. And it’s scary to them. And I am sorry that they — you know, are finding themselves in this situation, based on assurances they got from me. We’ve got to work hard to make sure that — they know — we hear ‘em and that we’re gonna do everything we can — to deal with folks who find themselves — in a tough position as a consequence of this . . .
And then he pointedly doesn’t deny that his credibility is shot, that he may no longer be trusted, and that in his statements he left out critical information.
Todd: Do you feel — considering how much this quote has been – it’s late night, it’s all sorts of things, that — do you understand that people are gonna be skeptical of the next promise you make, of the next — or are you concerned that people are gonna be wondering, “Jeez, what is the fine print that he’s not telling me?” Do you get that people might be a little more skeptical? Forget the partisans here in Washington , just average Americans.Obama: You know, I — I — I’ll tell you, Chuck. I — I think that — I’ve now been in national public life for seven, eight years. I’ve been president for — almost five. And I think for the most part people know that I speak my mind and I tell folks what I think and I’ve been very clear about what I’m trying to do. And I think most people know that — even if they disagree with me on certain issues — that I’m every day workin’ hard to try to make life a little bit better for middle class families who are — and folks who are tryin’ to get in the middle class who are doin’ the right thing and bein’ responsible . . .So ultimately, I think I’ll be judged on whether this thing is better for people overall. And in the meantime, even if it’s a small percentage of people . . . I want everybody out there to know that, you know, my entire intention here is to make sure that — people have the security of affordable health care.
Below is a video of the entire interview. The video is worth watching. It’s rare to see a president – particularly this one – let the buck stop at his desk and take some lumps

The “authorities” can shut down website after website, but the tide of new technology and the human spirit itself cannot and will not be overcome. This is the hard lesson that statists and collectivists will be learning the hard way in the years to come, as decentralization and freedom stage a gigantic, peaceful revolution. A revolution that is already in full swing and gaining tremendous momentum with each passing day.
It took only a little over a month for Silk Road 2.0 to launch on the “dark web,” and there are already close to 500 illegal drug listings. As part of the new service there is even a new security feature that allows users to use their PGP encryption key as an extra authentication measure. The login page itself is even a parody of the Department of Justice’s seizure of the original site in early October. This is what you see when you visit:
More from Forbes:
On Wednesday morning, Silk Road 2.0 came online, promising a new and slightly improved version of the anonymous black market for drugs and other contraband that the Department of Justice shut down just over a month before. Like the old Silk Road, which until its closure served as the Web’s most popular bazaar for anonymous narcotics sales, the new site uses the anonymity tool Tor and the cryptocurrency Bitcoin to protect the identity of its users. As of Wednesday morning, it already sported close to 500 drug listings, ranging from marijuana to ecstasy to cocaine. It’s even being administered by a new manager using the handle the Dread Pirate Roberts, the same pseudonym adopted by the previous owner and manager of the Silk Road, allegedly the 29-year-old Ross Ulbricht arrested by the FBI in San Francisco on October 2nd.
The only significant visible change from the last Silk Road, spotted by the dark-web-focused site AllThingsVice that first published the site’s new url, is a new security feature that allows users to use their PGP encryption key as an extra authentication measure. It also has a new login page, parodying the seizure notice posted by the Department of Justice on the prior Silk Road’s homepage, with the notice “This Hidden Site Has Been Seized” replaced by the sentence “This Hidden Site Has Risen Again.”
“You can never kill the idea of Silk Road,” read the twitter feed of the new Dread Pirate Roberts twenty minutes before the site’s official launch.
Some folks aren’t convinced…
“I for one do not trust the new [Silk Road],” wrote one user on the site’s forums. “I just get an eerie feeling from the whole idea of it, right now i will steer clear…only time will tell, i want to dive head first into it, but i want to see it play out for a little bit before i slap down another 500 bucks, an investment i made the day before [Silk Road] was closed.”
While others seem comfortable…
Many more of Silk Road’s users seem reassured, however, by the fact that Silk Road 2.0 is being managed in part by known administrators from the original Silk Road, particularly a moderator known as Libertas who has served as one of the more vocal leaders of the Silk Road community since Ulbricht, the alleged Dread Pirate Roberts, was arrested.

A Boone, Iowa, dad is deeply regretful he didn’t let his son buy the cigarettes he wanted.
After denied a pack of smokes, 19-year-old Tyler Comstock took off in his father’s truck without permission.
In an attempt to teach his son a lesson, Tyler’s father James called the police and reported his vehicle stolen. That lesson ended up being the last one he would ever teach his son.

After receiving word of the stolen vehicle, the Ames police department pursued Tyler onto the Iowa State University campus and did the unimaginable – they shot him dead.
“He took off with my truck. I call the police, and they kill him,” Tyler’s father James told The Des Moines Register. “It was over a damn pack of cigarettes. I wouldn’t buy him none. And I lose my son for that.”
Police said it should have been a simple traffic stop, but Tyler refused to cooperate. According to Cmdr. Geoff Huff, he pulled away from officers ramming a police vehicle before speeding away.
Students at the campus said they heard sirens and then saw a white truck being followed by police.
Witnesses say they saw Tyler slam the truck into signs and trees trying to escape before he was cordoned off by police cars.
“Finally the truck stopped after getting hit a couple times and one of the cops got out and started firing shots, I don’t know where. But about 3 to 5 shots and that’s when everything kind of stopped,” one student recalled.
Police say they were forced to shoot as he was disobeying orders to turn the truck off, instead revving the engine in defiance, but Tyler’s family argues there could have been more done to prevent the use of deadly force.
“So he didn’t shut the damn truck off, so let’s fire six rounds at him? We’re confused, and we don’t understand,” Tyler’s step-grandfather Gary Shepley stated.
Tyler’s cousin Blake was also at a loss. “I mean, he wasn’t armed. He didn’t have a weapon or anything.”
“I just heard the audio of the dispatch. They told (police) to back off,” Tyler’s mother Shari Comstock told the Register. “Why? Why did they kill him?”
Police have launched an investigation into the shooting, according to the Daily Mail.
