Gene Rosen, a resident of Sandy Hook, CT for the past twenty years, is a retired psychologist who worked for several years in Newtown at Fairfield Hills State Hospital. He, and his wife, Marilyn, are the happy owners of four stray cats, Leah, Max, Cleo and Wolfee. Leah was found over 10 years ago wandering the grounds of the Garner Correctional Facility in Newtown, while Max and Cleo are recent adoptees from the Danbury Animal Welfare Society in Bethel, CT. Wolfee found them and moved in all on his own! Today these fat cats can be found on any given day in one of their many favorite lazy cat hide-outs!
Gene first became interested in the pet-sitting business after having personally used a pet-sitting service. Both of the Rosens loved knowing that their “children” were left at home, in a safe, familiar environment, receiving wonderful care. Gene believes at the heart of his pet-sitting service lies the basic commodity of trust and he looks forward to serving his friendly neighbors in Sandy Hook, Newtown and surrounding areas.

Gene Rosen sells stamps at the Canine Advocates of Newtown Valentine’s Day Boutique at the C.H. Booth Library to help raise money for a new dog pound in Newtown.
Rosen doesn’t charge his clients for the pictures, which are professional in quality.”People love it,” Rosen said.”It’s a complimentary part of the service.”Taking that service a step further, Rosen, a Canine Advocates of Newtown volunteer for the past five years, also donates his time and talent taking similar pictures for its fundraisers.”I’m happy to do it,” said Rosen, a retired state employee.”I’ve got a nice pension and I’ve got the pet sitting business.I’m under no pressure to charge.””Gene is willing to come to take pictures for our scrapbook, too,” said CAN president Virginia Jess.
Rosen, the grandfather of 2-year-old Jack, the apple of his eye, continues to use his theatrical skills as a reader to children attending Hill and Plain Elementary School in New Milford. But, with all his activities, it is his pet sitting that takes up much of his time.”I have a friend in Pennsylvania who was a pet sitter.I tried it and found I could do it,” said the friendly, gregarious Rosen.”It’s a job that entails a great deal of responsibility and the willingness to give up your nights, weekends and holidays.”Rosen, who is supported in his endeavors by his wife, Marilyn, doesn’t mind the job requirements.”Pets are like family and once people give you the key to their house, they are gracious and grateful,” he said. The couple has four cats of their own.To date, he has included caring for dogs, cats, birds and, once, chickens.”I gathered the eggs, cleaned them and put them out for sale,” he recalled. The business is also a boon to his health.”I’m a diabetic and I won’t go to a health club, but walking the dogs is great exercise,” he said One of his customers is a woman in Heritage Village for whom he walks dogs twice a day.”For me, this is a perfect business,” Rosen said.”I get the exercise I need, I have interaction with people and I’m with animals, which I like.”He also gets a kick out of takings photographs of the pets he watches.”I get a lot of pleasure hearing ‘thank you’ and ‘that was a great picture,’” he admitted.Rosen, who was a member of the Flagpole Photography Club and has taken courses in photography, uses a digital SLR camera with a special lens.”If you’re using great equipment (and that can be purchased for about $800, he said) and think about what you’re doing, you can take some unbelievable pictures.”The ever generous Rosen donates his talent to CAN, the Newtown Dog Pound (“I take the pictures that appear in the local newspaper,” he said) and is now getting involved with the state’s Lyme Disease Task Force. He is also “flirting” with the idea of going into the pet photography business. For the time being, though, that will wait. His plate is full.To contact Gene Rosen at Gene’s Trusty Pet Service, call (203) 589-9154, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or visit genespetservice.com. this story has been read 1142 times
Eighteen children were killed on Friday morning in a shooting at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn., about 65 miles northeast of New York City, according to a person who had been briefed on the shooting. Another law enforcement official said there were adult casualties as well, which would rank it among the worst shootings in recent United States history.

If you pay attention to what he says, he’s not talking about people impersonating the killer, he said “in any form” posting what he considers disinfo. This is a pathetic last ditch attempt to clamp down on info and try to salvage their official story. Will these guys prosecute themselves for violating First Amendment‘s Rights Of The U.S. Contitution?

update 12/21/2012– 27 Killed in Connecticut Shooting, Including 20 Children FALSE FLAG 2 Years In The Making – Newtown CT
UP DATE 1/12/2013 WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE Sandy Hook Elementary School Tribute Newtown, Saturday, November 10, 2012 11:36 AM .avi
In the latest film, the southern section of Gotham is without a doubt called “Sandy Hook,” however, according to our research, this section was renamed somewhere between the first film and the last.
Take a look at the map in this still frame found in the first Batman movie, “Batman Begins,” taken around 14:41:
Although blurry, the colors match up with the map below, in which the southern section in question is called, “South Hinkley,” not “Sandy Hook”:
See the below comparison:
Also, the design of the map is different than ones seen in “The Dark Knight Rises:”
In “The Dark Knight Rises,” the Sandy Hook island holds the Gotham stadium that super-villain Bane demolishes.
A book titled “The Dark Knight Manual,” the “definitive guide to his tools, vehicles, and technologies,” was published, according to Amazon, on July 10, 2012 and features a map in which the section is called “South Hinkley,” not “Sandy Hook.” The book is described as “an in-world exploration of Christopher Nolan’s Batman,” and was released nearly simultaneously with the “Dark Knight Rises” movie, yet it fails to reflect the southern Gotham island as “Sandy Hook.”
Meanwhile, numerous December 2011 posts tell of promotional material being sent out by Warner Brothers in advance of the “Dark Knight Rises,” curiously with maps.
Screen capture taken from FirstShowing.net.
The website FirstShowing.net says they received a package containing a “new Bane ‘Fire Rises’ t-shirt that comes in a tube wrapped in a map of Gotham City.” In this promotional material, vividly showing Bane’s “strike zones,” the map shows the southernmost island is titled “Sandy Hook.” A tip of the hat to the Gothamist who also informed their readers of this.
According to the website DarkKnightNews.com, director Eli Roth also received a promo kit. In a Twitter post last year, the Cabin Fever director was featured wearing the Bane t-shirt saying, “THIS just showed up at my house with no explanation or return address. Should I be worried?”.
The “No Man’s Land” Batman comic series (published March – November 1999) featured a cover with the section in question going under the label “Tri-corner Yards,” and various other, seemingly older maps show this title as well.
Some people have argued that “Sandy Hook” appears in “The Dark Knight” because Gotham City is supposed to represent New York City, which is somewhat true, and that because there is a bay and beach in the same vicinity of New York City by that name (actually in New Jersey) that “Sandy Hook” appears as a nod to reality.
